Micheline Robinson is an international artist listed on artnet.com and was recently represented at the Hong Kong Art Fair in May.
She is an active humanitarian artist, participating in many projects such as the Ubuntu Charity Show in Seoul that raised $150 000 for malnourished children of North Korea and more recently, Sweden’s exhibition “In recognition of Malala Yousafzai” which has been raising funds for education. In 2009, she founded and organised the Wirral Open Studio Tour in the UK which received Arts Council funding in 2011.
Micheline is a dedicated artist, who does not fear to experiment, has a high work output and uses colour in extraordinary ways to produce scintillating abstract works that allow the viewers to perceive a variety of thoughts and ideas. She works in large series instead of sticking to a particular style, medium and size varying on how to best convey a theme. The "Of jagged black rocks" series was displayed earlier this year at the NZAFA.
