Zero Waste Arts, Crafts and Yummy Things
A FREE workshop for kids...(under 7 please come with an adult)
Have you ever wondered what happens to empty paint pottles and glue bottles, or lolly wrappers and peanut butter jars? What do you know about the Great Pacific Garbage Patch and where paint goes when we wash it down the drain?
Come and learn from Hannah Blumhardt and Liam Prince about how throwaway plastic harms the world around us, and have a go at getting creative while caring for our environment. Paint a picture with some zero waste paint, turn scrap paper into a cool design with homemade glue, or try your hand at making your very own notebook! Share some tasty treats that come without packaging and learn about how we can all take steps (big and small) to reduce how much rubbish we throw away.

Hannah and Liam have been living zero waste in Wellington for two years. For several months they have been running public presentations, home demonstrations, going to schools and businesses, and also academic and other public panels and conferences, talking about why and how individuals and families can reduce their household waste.
